Upcoming Trip: Southern California

Spring break is right around the corner. I am so excited for a break. We have been blessed with a lot of snow days, but it will be nice to have a whole week off to visit with friends. Remember when I had the speeding ticket and I didn't know if I would get to take both trips? Well, I found such great deals that I bought both tickets.

So in two weeks I will be headed to Southern California to visit my close friends from college. I haven't seen them in almost two years. I was there for my friend Steph's wedding and at the time my other friend Jen was pregnant. So now I will get to hear about married life and baby stories. In addition I will lounge on the beach (Steph lives in Huntington Beach and Jen is in Seal Beach). Then there is all the good food, Wahoo's Fish Tacos, In-and-Out...yum! I will also be making a short trip to visit the guy I dated in Alaska. He lives right outside of Joshua Tree. He and I will be camping and climbing in the national park. I'm grateful for making such goods friends with him, because he will be showing me around the park. I am so excited!

In addition, life has been good to me. Not only is the weather warming up, which always makes me happy, but I'm dating someone. I'm going to limit the details, since everything is still new, but he was one of the guys from the last post...one of my climbing friends. Something about that weekend sparked an interest between the two of us and we have seen each other almost everyday since.
