There is not a lot for me to write about, which is why you haven't heard from me. This past week was rather busy with the last week of school. I'm glad to have another school year over and I look forward to meeting new students next year. I have volunteered to be a team leader next year, which will require more responsibility on my part. It will be good for me.

Yesterday I went to Lake Anna with my brother. He bought a jet ski in March and this was the first time I was able to go out with him on the lake. He also bought a wakeboard, but we really couldn't use it because the rooster tail from the jet ski kept splashing into his face. So we just cruised around the lake. I came to an important conclusion, I'm just not a boat person. When I was growing up my family bought a boat. We would go out on the lake to water ski or swim. Each time we went to the same dock, Christopher's Cove. We would picnic and lounge out in the water. It was fun family time. After a while though, I lost interest in going to the lake. I had forgotten all about those summer days. Making the trip with my brother brought back memories. We went to the same dock and spent most of the day out on the water. It was fun to jet ski and I really liked it when I got to ride by myself, but I know that boating just isn't for me.

Buying a boat or jet ski is a hobby. I know kids like being out on the water, but when I think about all the money that goes into buying a boat/jet ski I get overwhelmed. There are just too many other things that I want to do...like traveling. I would rather take my children around the world.

This next week even though school is out, I'm attending a History Alive training. I get paid to do it and I think it will be beneficial to my career. Hopefully I will have more to post about the preparations for the upcoming trip. In the meantime, please be patient with my limited posting...I'm just as anxious as you are to get this vacation started!

Dav- Thanks!

CP- I won't be in Singapore until July 12th, but you should still check for updates on New Zealand. By the way, thanks for always checking back...how come you aren't posting at all?

TP-It is good to know that I'm not the only one excited!

Confucius once say, when have nothing to say, say nothing. I'll post Tracy, soon.
I've got a couple of trips on my mind right now but financial obligations have left them right there for the moment. Thanks for checking.
I hope you had a good year at school.

Hey Tracy - YEAH! We made it through the school year! :) That is so awesome, isn't it?!! I think we both finished at the same time.

I feel ya on the boat thing - although I love being near the water, I think I might prefer traveling. I wish I was as good at is as you are! Can't wait to read about this summer's adventure. Amazing that it's been a year since Alaska, huh?!

CP- I will continue to check your blog!

Momo- I can't believe it has been a year either! I have come a long way in terns of my broken heart. Most days I feel like I have moved on...now I'm just trying to figure out what to do with those odd days of loniless and rejection! Just think, I started this blog to write about Alaska and my emotional progress and look what it has turned into! I almost feel like I have to travel just so I have something to post about!

Tracy, if I could do only half the things you could do, sking, rock clibming and what not. I have just done paragliding once and I trek. In fact I thought you must be on your way to New Zealand and was quite surprised to see your comment yesterday. Let the trip begin soon.
